We feature a new queer artist monthly in our gallery.

We aim to offer a space for fine artists to showcase their work, and express their queer experience.

ZACH GREAR

“Paradise Lust”

January, 2020

“Zach Grear is driven by lust and beauty, not always distinguishing between the two. With a heavy focus on vintage queer erotica, he aims to capture the viewers lust and twist it towards his own standard of beauty. PARADISE LUST is a collection of masculine beauty ideals warped to this alternate plane.”

December 9 - January 10

DEVIN WESLEY

“Vision” November, 2019

“Being a gay man of color, he references his perspective and view of the world to influence his work and artistic voice. His mission is to portray under-discussed ideologies with the intention to normalize them within his audience.

His latest series “vision” uses a combination of visual cues and emotional disposition to portray ways in which the human subconscious becomes unaware of its surroundings and/or current situations.”

JON GAMÉL

“About Uncertainty” October, 2019

"The materials that form the backbone of my art are an expression of the subject on a deeper plane. Not only does the spectator have glimpses into a subject's heart, but she can also physically see the images and materials surrounding one's life. It's for this reason that I superimpose photorealistic paintings onto backgrounds made of resin, steel, plexiglass, computer chips, old photographs, wood type, and patterns."

SM SHIFFLETT

“Small Work, Large Life” September, 2019

"For people who feel like outsiders, my hope is seeing them self represented in some way might make them feel less outside and less alone. I believe paintings have the power to shed light on subjects in a thought-provoking way that can lead to better understanding and acceptance."

David Jester

August, 2019

“This current series of paintings was inspired by gay life online, how we present ourselves to each other, how we treat each other, and the series is working towards showing how fine the line is between taste and discrimination in our little pool of people.”
